Civil Justice for Victims of Crime in Arizona will explore civil remedies available to victims and the advocate’s role in directing victims to appropriate resources. Unfortunately, many victims are unaware of their rights or are unsure where to turn for help.  Regardless of whether the crime is homicide, sexual assault, child sex abuse, stalking, domestic violence, theft, or fraud, victims have options in the civil justice system. This dynamic and informative workshop will be led by Jeff Dion, director of the National Crime Victim Bar Association. Co-presenting with him will be renowned Arizona attorneys and National Crime Victim Bar Association members who will address specific questions of Arizona law.
