National Census of Victim Service Providers

January 2017 Update

UpdateThe National Census of Victim Service Providers is the first ever national count of all programs responding to victims and survivors of crime and abuse. Funded by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, and the Office for Victims of Crime, U.S. Department of Justice, the NCVSP will provide basic information about our field, helping reveal gaps and opportunities. To date, 27% of identified programs have responded, including legal services, criminal justice system-based victim assistants, community-based advocates, campus programs, Tribal programs, social service programs, and more.
