2023 National Training Institute Workshop Proposals

We are now accepting workshop proposals for the 2023 National Training Institute! The 2032 National Training Institute will be held from September 6-8th, 2023 in Boston, MA at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.

The proposal process is currently open through January 13, 2023. All proposals must be submitted by 5PM EST on January 13th to be considered.

The National Training Institute is a multidisciplinary conference that focuses on serving survivors of all crime types and we encourage presentations on any topic related to serving survivors.

Some of our most requested topics for 2023 include: Restorative Justice, Case Studies, Trauma and trauma-informed work, Mass violence and terrorism, Law enforcement and victim services, and Serving survivors from historically underserved communities.

All accepted primary presenters will be required to sign a presenter agreement and attend a pre-conference webinar on important presenter information. Primary presenters will also be responsible for ensuring that all other presenters in their session register for the conference before the deadline.

All presenters who are accepted to present at NTI are eligible for a discounted rate of $150 to attend the full conference. Each presenter must register before the conference in order to present. Please note – NCVC is unable to provide honorariums or cover travel for presenters.

Yes! You are able to edit your proposal until the deadline for submission (01/13/23 at 5PM EST.) Please keep your confirmation email as this contains the link to edit.

Our CE provider requires all presentations to have at least three current (within the past ten years) citations per session. In order to provide CE credit for our attendees, we must have the citations, learning objectives, and resumes for all presenters. For more information on how to cite in APA style, visit this site
