Identity theft is a pervasive problem that extends beyond unauthorized credit card charges. In fact, in 2014, nearly one-third of identity theft complaints to the FTC involved taxes and wages. Moreover, a new study found that over two million Americans are victims of medical identity theft. 

Please join Lisa Schifferle, attorney with the FTC and Eva Velasquez, President/CEO of the Identity Theft Resource Center as they present on the most prevalent types of identity theft and their devastating effects. Moreover, these experts will provide the latest resources to assist advocates navigate their clients through this difficult problem.
