2017 SVAA Leadership Symposium

The National Center for Victims of Crime-SVAA Resource Center is pleased to support attendance at the 2017 SVAA Leadership Symposium in Portland, OR, December 4-7, 2017 by offering a limited number of scholarships. 

Scholarships are intended to help cover the costs of participation in the Symposium for those who would otherwise be unable to attend (see below for expenses covered).

If you are interested in being considered for a scholarship to the SVAA Leadership Symposium, you must submit a completed application by August 4th.  Scholarship recipients are expected to attend all Leadership Symposium events.

Completed forms should be emailed to svaatta@ncvc.org by August 4, 2017

Selected scholarship recipients will need to submit receipts to the National Center following the National Training Institute/SVAA Symposium and no later than October 6th, 2016 for reimbursement.  The SVAA Leadership Symposium Scholarship covers conference registration and two nights of accommodations at the conference hotel.  Additionally, reimbursements of up to $500 will be provided for air/rail fare; ground transportation, and federal per diem for meals.. Receipts should be scanned and submitted via email to: Katie Fidrych (kfidrych@ncvc.org) ).If you or your organization is unable absorb travel costs up front please contact us directly and we will work with you to make the necessary arrangements.
