The proposal submission form is currently open through Friday, February 6th, 2026. All proposals must be submitted by 11:59pm EST on Friday, 2/6/26 to be considered.

What are the most requested topics at NTI?

The National Training Institute is a multi-disciplinary conference that focuses on serving survivors of all crime types and we encourage any presentations on topics related to serving and working with victims.

Some of our most requested topics at past conferences include: social media and cyber stalking, collaborative efforts in advocacy, post-conviction advocacy, sources of grant funding, and a multitude of other topics. For more ideas, past NTI agendas can be found here.

What are the requirements for presenters?

All presenters primary presenters will be required to sign a presenter agreement and attend a pre-conference webinar on important presenter information. Primary presenters will also be responsible for ensuring that all other presenters in their session register for the conference before the deadline.

What costs are presenters responsible for?

All presenters who are accepted to present at the National Training Institute are eligible for a discounted registration rate of $200 to attend the full conference. Each presenter must register for the conference in order to present. Please note – NCVC is unable to provide honorariums/stipends or cover travel costs for presenters.

Can I edit my proposal after submission?

Yes! You are able to edit your proposal until the deadline for submission (02/06/2026 at 11:59pm EST). After submitting your proposal, be sure to save your confirmation email as it contains the link to edit your proposal.

What are APA citations and why do I have to provide them?

Our continuing education (CE) credit provider requires all presentations to have at least three current (within the last 10 years) citations per sessions. In order to provide CE credits for our attendees, we must have the citations, learning objectives, and resumes for all presenters.
