The National Compassion Fund provides a single, trusted source for the public to donate directly to victims of mass crimes, such as shootings or terrorist attacks. NCVC developed the National Compassion Fund in partnership with victims and family members from previous mass violence incidents, including those who lost loved ones the Sandy Hook, Aurora, Virginia Tech, Oak Creek Temple, Columbine, and Northern Illinois University shootings, and the September 11 terrorist attacks.
